ESG-G: Governance – factors of company management from the perspective of social sustainability

The term “governance” includes factors essential for the management of an organization from the perspective of social sustainability. Core is transparency, implementation of ethical values and sustainable development values into management, ethical management of relationships with stakeholders.

In the course we will focus on tools for socially sustainable management of the organization and their relationship to mandatory reporting elements. An important part of the course is a detailed explanation of the principles and methodology of ESG reporting according to ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards).

Course content:

The meaning of “G” – organization management
Introduction to ESG reporting (key concepts, processing principles, significance for company leadership)
Standardization in ESG (GRI, ESRS, IFRS SRS, etc.)
Data collection and assessment of organizational governance factors from the perspective of social sustainability, setting key goals and indicators
Tools for socially sustainable management of the organization and their implementation (ethical code, ethical audit, setting organizational values, monitoring impacts in supplier‑customer relationships, remuneration, etc.)
Whistleblowing, rejection of corruption
Reporting Governance factors according to ESRS
Practical examples, tips, discussion
