Measuring the carbon footprint of a company and product
For most companies, the requirement to calculate their carbon footprint arises within buyer‑supplier relationships. The calculation of the carbon footprint will also be required by banks when applying for a loan. Although the obligation to disclose non‑financial data currently applies only to the largest companies and the requirements for the scope of non‑financial reporting for other companies under the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) are not yet clear, customers and banks already demand at least carbon‑footprint information from a large portion of small and medium‑sized enterprises.
In the seminar you will learn not only why to calculate the carbon footprint and which rules to follow, but also be introduced to practical tools that can help you calculate the carbon footprint of your company and products. You will also discover how carbon‑footprint calculation can help improve the financial position and performance of your organization.
