Sustainable business or business sustainably? How to see ESG even in financial results? Sustainability in business and in the practice of any organization has been a long‑term trend and nothing changes that, not even the current geopolitical situation.

The course responds to the current needs of organizations, helps tune into the present, not entirely clear environment concerning sustainability, and using practical examples shows how sustainability can be best grasped and used for the functioning of an organization.

Course content:

Day 1: Sustainable development and ESG – introduction to the issue, legislation, standardisation, financing of sustainable activities, voluntary and mandatory reporting (6h)

Day 2: E – impacts of company activities on the environment, carbon footprint and its calculation, financial aspects of environmental measures (6h)

Day 3: ESG – social responsibility and corporate governance factors from a sustainability perspective, financial aspects of social and governance issues from a sustainability viewpoint (6h)

Day 4: Finance and sustainability, ESG reflection in calculations and finance, alignment of ISO and other standards with ESG, data collection automation, practical guides (6h)

Day 5: Voluntary ESG reporting step by step (6h), benefits (and drawbacks) for the organization
